Jaime Garzón was not only a comedian but was also an actor, presenter, politician, activist, conciliator and peace negotiator. He was shot and killed while on his way to the Radionet studios in Bogotá.

Garzón was shot by two people on a motorcycle, who, before giving him up to 5 shots, shouted his name. To this day, the murder of Jaime Garzón continues in impunity and to this day it is not known who killed him or where the order came from to end his life.
